The Team at Plumbe Joinery
History
Raised in Dorrigo, at age 14 John started working at a local saw mill. Following his passion for working with timber, he moved to Melbourne to work at Patterson’s Joinery. In 1968 he returned to Coffs Harbour to work at Dawsons Joinery. Over the next 20 years John moved into the Building Industry at which time he obtained his Builders Licence. During this time he was still actively running his joinery.
Robert (John’s son) started working with John in the construction industry in 1988. Robert became a fully Licenced Builder in 1994. Robert spent countless hours in his fathers joinery while growing up and also during their time working together.
Both John & Robert decided to scale back their building business and increase the joinery component. In 2000 they moved the business to it current location at unit 2, 9 June Street, expanding their floor area 10 fold. The growth in the Joinery business over the next 6 years lead to further expansion with Plumbe Joinery now having 1000 sq meters of floor space and the whole complex at 9 June Street.
Plumbe Joinery has completed various jobs from Sydney to the Gold Coast and as far west as Moree. From Comercial fitouts, residential joinery to custom made furniture.
